Welcome to Freshfield (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Freshfield service, website, and tools (“Service”). By accessing or using Freshfield, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
You understand that Freshfield is currently in a beta phase and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or experience interruptions. By using the Service during this phase, you accept these risks and acknowledge that the platform is still under active development.
You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. By using Freshfield, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You may be required to create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
If you access or use the Freshfield platform via an account provisioned through an invitation or waitlist, your first login shall constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the platform and contact us immediately at [email protected].
You agree to use Freshfield in accordance with applicable laws and not to:
As part of the Service, you may create and publish content (such as release notes, update descriptions, or email messages), either manually or automatically via integrations (e.g., Git autogeneration ). You are solely responsible for the content you publish using Freshfield, including its legality, accuracy, and any consequences it may cause.
We do not monitor or moderate user-generated content. By using the Service, you agree not to upload or publish any content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, or harmful.
You also acknowledge that any email addresses you provide (e.g., for subscriber notifications) are collected and used by you with proper consent, and that you are responsible for complying with applicable email and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Freshfield is currently available free of charge during the closed beta phase.
When entering the public beta phase, some features or usage levels will become subject to paid subscriptions. All users, including those from the closed beta, will be required to subscribe to a plan to continue using the Service.
By continuing to use Freshfield after the public beta launch, you agree to the applicable pricing terms. If you do not wish to subscribe, you must stop using the Service.
We reserve the right to modify pricing, introduce new plans, or adjust the features included in each plan. Any such changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.
Freshfield and its associated branding, technology, and design are owned by us. You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g., release notes, updates) but grant us a license to display and process it within the platform for operational purposes.
If you connect Git repositories or configure email notifications, you:
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or any unauthorized or abusive behavior.
You agree not to use the Service to upload, generate, or distribute any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content that we determine to be in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Freshfield allows integration with third-party services such as GitHub, GitLab, and SMTP/email providers. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or behavior of these third-party services. Your use of such integrations is governed by their respective terms.
Some features of the Service involve the use of automated tools (including artificial intelligence) to suggest or generate content (e.g., release notes from Git data). These suggestions are for convenience only. You remain fully responsible for reviewing, modifying, and approving any content before publishing it.
You may delete your account or project at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., backups, audit logs).
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will notify you via email or through the Service and update the “Last updated” date above.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at:
